Tests on Steel Bars & Iron Sheets

    • Tensile Strength & Elongation (set of 3pieces per sample).

Bitumen Tests

    • Tray Test.
    • Binder Content & Aggregate Grading by Extraction.
    • Penetration Test for Bitumen.
    • Ring & Ball Softening Point of Bitumen.
    • Marshal Mix Design.
    • Compaction of Briquettes (3 × 100mm diameter).
    • Bulk Density of Briquettes (3 × 100mm diameter).
    • Calculation of Void Content in Bituminous Mixes.

Field Tests

    • Field Density (Sand Replacement) - set of 3 holes.
    • Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) Test - 1.0m depth.
    • Trial Pit (0 – 2m) in Soft Material.

    • Flakiness Index (FI) & Average Least Dimension (ALD).
